How To Open A Clickbank Account When Your Country Isn’t Listed

I get this question A LOT. Especially from people who want to start affiliate marketing, but find out that Clickbank doesn’t have their country listed.

And so… yes, someone did ask me again.

Hi Adam:

I would not want to let go this opportunity to ask a long kept question.
I can’t create a clickbank account with Malaysian address, Malaysia is not listed in the clickbank country list.

I was thinking to register using Singapore address, and deposit my clickbank cheque in Malaysia, is it allowed to do that ?

Thanks for your advice.

Regards:
Steve

Hiya Steve,

It is unfortunate that Clickbank doesn’t accept Malaysian accounts, so that makes things a tad inconvenient for aspiring internet marketers. But obviously, there are many Malaysians out there who are doing really well online and I’m sure they’ve found a way to sidestep this issue.

My suggestion is to open a Singapore Clickbank account and have those cheques mailed to your Singapore address. From there, how you want to process the cheques is up to you. Either bank it in a local bank and then remit the money back to Malaysia or have the cheques sent to Malaysia and then bank it there.

I guess you’d have to check with the banks for details on how best to do this and to find out if there’re any restrictions, etc. Or better yet, go network with a Malaysian Internet marketer, buy him a kopi, and find out.
