Hey Gerry,

Wow! Whole load of words and really hard to read. haha! Anyway, if I somehow got your question right...

You can setup pages for these two different projects on FB along with your regular personal FB profile. These pages are independent of your FB profile.

Again, the way you promote your stuff on FB is to simply let people be AWARE of what you offer. You don't need to pitch (if you do, do it sparingly form time to time). And give away great content.

Hi Adam:

Good post re facebook, I myself have no problems eg getting to my work email an "unsolicated" ( I hate to that word, using for simplicity) bulk marketing B2B email to my recruitment biz email if there is relevance & potentially something i may use eg if i get a bulk marketing email from a Job Board offering me 1 months free trial, or fax marketing service for country in EU i virtually work into.m my point is I do not have a broom handle up my butt & jump up & down ranting bout spam as i do not consider personally relevant b2b spam, so an easy going re that, i was amazed recently at how pee'ed off mad i got when a contact i felt "Hi-jacked" my facebook profile to promote some BS thing, i was furious, & actually felt contact was Using me. Amazed i was at my reaction! So v good advice.

now, Question is.....
How could we ethically promote to our contacts eg a self defense seminar in thailand as example, or a new low cost recruitment service virtually worked into Ireland ethically on FaceBook ?

These 2 v different projects & in 2 v different Regions on FaceBook, & i know my own contacts few would be interested in BOTH. Any ideas ?

Are we allowed to have 2 separate Logins/Profiles on FaceBook?
(if u did not want the business contacts to see your social personal friends, & strictly wantesd to keep both v separate?)

Thank You

Bad copywriting from the get-go haha...

No "average joe" will know what Internet marketing is, more so Derek Gehl...

I'd probaby start off with this...

"Hi there,

You are probably wondering if this is YET another idiotic spam message, and I'll tell you upfront that this is indeed one!

BUT...

...if you give me a few moments to try and explain myself, you might consider this the most important spam message you've ever read!

Here's why..."

That said, I'd probably not try something like this as there are subtler ways to "spam" Facebook
