Money, Money, Money

This just arrived in the mail:

Guess what’s inside?

.

.

An envelope! Woooo….. Let’s see what’s inside this…

.

.

.

OMIGOD! It’s a cheque from Clickbank for more than friggin’ US$5000! ahahhahaha!

Now now, before you go about thinking why in the world I’m showing this off, this post is not meant for me to brag about this precious piece of paper. I just want you to know what it looks and feels like to get PAID for your internet efforts. Especially if you’ve never had something like this before. Like me. This is my first ever cheque.

Well I had one from Google before but that one didn’t exactly set my pulse racing. So let me treat this Clickbank one as my true virgin cheque! haha!

I believe that when you get to know what it feels and looks like to have something and you constantly focus your thoughts and energies on it, it WILL manifest and become reality.

Adam Khoo used to check out and sit in BMWs in car showrooms way before he made his million and guess what? He now has his BMW. It manifested. It became reality.

He also used to dream about going back to his secondary school and giving a talk there to the students to share about his story and also to prove some of his teachers wrong and that he made it in life. And guess what? That also came true.

Your thoughts become reality. So if this representation of what it’s like to receive a 5-grand cheque can help you manifest one in your own reality, great!

    Wow, truly happy for you!
I have been visiting your site regularly recently and i will continue to do this. As i find this site has rich content and humorous as well. i love it.

May i ask u a question, for me, right, i also use wordpress to made a v simple website, do i still need to pay the service provider?
if i wanna advertisement on it, how should i do it? like Ads by google, etc. I am new at internet marketing and really curious of starting now. Can you give me a bit of guide? Thanks.

    Adam says:
Wah lau! This type of comment makes me wanna kiss you! (if you’re a girl lah.. and you should be since Xiaoli’s a ‘girl’ name) But besides that…

The wordpress software is free, you can get it at wordpress.org . You would need to pay for your domain name and for hosting. I suggest namesecure.com for that. As for hosting, you can look around for a local provider or you may want to search around on the internet for one that suits your needs and budget. Google Adsense is free, you just stick the code into your html.

    Hi Adam
Congratulations. I’m really happy for you.

I posted you a question in an earlier post about setting up a site which you responded. I have since gone on to experiment with blogger and been blogging quite a bit. I have also begun to use facilities such as “del.icio.us” to store my favourite links and pages, feedblitz for email notification, adsense, clickbank to promote my blog and try some affiliate marketing. Basically find out ways to drive traffic to my blog, though I do not have anything to sell, but still happy if people were to find my blogs on self effectiveness, wealth and health (through Wing Chun Kung Fu) interesting (Gosh, shameless self advertising! :-) )

I was a non-believer in internet affiliate marketing too. After seeing your success, I guess you do have a point that it does work. I signed up as an affiliate for SSMM but no hits on it lah. I’ll be trying other concepts as I progress.

Taking one step and a time. Taking action!
    Thanks

    Adam says:
Whoa.. You are already onto del.icio.us? I haven’t even touched that yet! haha.. You’re fast! Glad to know that you’re moving forward, you can only learn so much faster when you’re out there in the trenches taking action everyday. All the best!

Hey Adam, let me congratulate you on your success! And a nice cool cheque you’ve got there. *beams*

Ohh yea, I have a question for you, umm, in your own point of view, what makes the SSMM launch is success?

And, I am thinking of starting my own bussiness soon. I’ve planned that already for afew months. And, one of my friends suggested blog as an advertising and promotional ground. Well, will that work? And is it legal to sell lotsa stuffs on the net without registering as a company. Just pondering.

And again, a job well done :) *pats shoulder*

    Adam says:
    Thanks man!

Why SSMM is a success? Numeber of things. It’s solid product, good credentials, copywriting, hard work and LUCK. Sometimes it happens but we have to be prepared to receive it. I did get some luck for the launch but if i didn’t put it altogether nicely, luck wouldn’t have dropped by to say ‘Hello! Let’s make some sales!’.

A blog is just one way to to create awareness for your product and even so, a blog needs time to build up. Xiaxue’s (ya.. I read her blog, gives me my regular dose of drama) been around for 4 years now, things don’t happen overnight. Look at other ways to promote as well - write articles, submit a press release, PPC, classified ads, forums, emails, submit to directories, working with JV partners, etc.

I’m not really sure about the legal aspect of things and I don’t think SG has a real framework yet becaue internet marketing is still relatively new here. So check it out if you are interested to know and let me know too! haha..

    Hi Steven & Adam,

    Ans to your query:

    http://www.business.gov.sg/EN/StartingUp/RegisterYourBusiness/GettingYourBusinessRegistered/regbiz_exemptions.htm

All businesses, whether it’s a one-owner business or a multinational company, must register with the Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA). However, certain individuals, professionals and organisations are exempted from registration.

    Individuals Who Are Exempted
Individuals who do not need to register with ACRA include:

    licensed hawkers
    domestic craftsmen
    taxi drivers
    trishaw riders
    sampan men
    farmers
private fish and prawn pond keepers
    Professionals Who Are Exempted
Professionals such as lawyers, doctors and accountants do not need to register with ACRA as they are managed by their respective professional bodies.

    Organisations Who Are Exempted
Organisations such as statutory boards, societies, mutual benefits co-operatives and charitable institutions that are set up by law also need not register.

Geesh… i also thinking about internet marketing but from this website it seemed to involve a lot of legal proceedings. Like registering for business still need to pay around $65 all in all. Erm…Adam…I really wonder how you earn all those money sometimes. Really amazed me. Just what have you done that you got so much sales for Clickbank? Heez…

    Adam says:
Hey Amy.. Thanks for the info! Am I really considered a business? Or can I operate as an individual like what if I just make money through adsense? I’ll have to ask a professional for advice now… Internet marketing is really still a gray area here.

How did I make the money? Mainly through SSMM. You can read about my journey in my previous blog posts. When I first started this blog, I was making like less than $90 a month, really really small amounts. And SSMM.com, the salesletter, the sales process, email autoresponders and the ebook, etc all didn’t exist! Wow! Time sure flies… Looking back at all the stuff I did.

Amazing! I’m grateful for all of it.

Hmmm… I read SSMM too, but maybe I yet to really explore and apply the concepts he taught. Oh well, I going to start soon. Hopefully I can earn as much as you do. Keep up the good work, yah.
