Reader Questions
Ok I have two today, so let’s begin:
Name: Ty Teh
Just curious.
When you do the article sumbmission for Adam Khoo, how many articles directories did you use? I understand that the more duplicated articles on the web, Google will actually penalize by giving lower ranking to the article.
How much of this do you find is true?
Also, I have seen some people submit more than 160+ articles to the same article directory and the ranking does not seem to improve. Choice of keywords aside, what do you think is affecting the ranking?Ty Teh.
Adam says:
Yes there is a content duplication penalty so add a bit of twist to your article submissions. Submit your articles to some directories first, then spin the articles and resubmit them to the next batch of directories and so on and so forth.
Remember also to have Google index the article on YOUR site first before you submit your articles. This is so that your site is recognized as the originator of the articles.
As what affects the SERPS - it could be anything.
Alright next one! (This one’s cute)
Name: Perry
Hey, I love your style of prose. Did you use Dragon Naturally speaking, or did you type all that? It must have taken like 30 mins to type everything there. Could you tell me more about mentoring? How does one find one? tata…yeah, that was lame fyi…heh
Adam says:
Whoaaa… the L word is being used! Ease off big brother…
Ha! Anyway.. i type every damn word. I just have a very talkative brain. But Dragon is great software as well if you want to use that. As for mentoring, think about how you can help and add value to your mentor first before even thinking about why s/he should give his/her time to mentor you.
How to find one? Go to seminars, hang out with the speakers, volunteer (no pay!) to help out in their events, get a job under them (if they’re looking), build a relationship first and the rest will flow. It’s like making friends except this one is gonna make you rich! hahah
Ok that’s all for now.

I have been looking at your blog for some time, since the launch of SSMM to be exact. Some days I envy you for the good luck of having the rights to publish Adam Khoo’s extensive range of articles, SSMM and any other projects that you’ll be carrying out. However, I know that it’s not luck that got you to where you are - it does take courage, hardwork and other qualities to approach a millionaire and set forth a proposal.
Now that you’ve been in touch with some of the more prominent figures in Singapore, I’m sure your knowledge will be on a whole new level. Therefore, I would just like to ask how would you carry out your internet marketing strategy if you were left on your own, with just your computer, internet connection and $200 to spare?
I’m looking forward to your answer, because like you, I do want to become an internet marketing millionaire too.
Oh yes, I didn’t give my email because I’m afraid it will be on the website and there are lots of spambots crawling around. I’ll check back at your website for your reply. Thanks so much.
