Hi Adam, I’m currently in the ditch of procrastination from getting my blog or web up. I need to rub some desires off you. What did you desire that got you started in the first place? I’m wondering what powerful desire I could have to get me anywhere? Apparently I’m shredding every possible ideas that surfaced. Help!

How did I get started? Just do it!

I kinda enjoy fiddling around with webbies, even though I’m not a techie. So that helps a bit. And having a multi-millionaire to please sure helps as well. (What am I saying? Adam’s a nice guy really…)

But seriously… you need help just to start a blog? That takes like 5 minutes to do! That’s the easy part. The tough part is making sure your blog adds value (or entertainment) to the people that visit it. If you can’t even bring yourself to set up a blog, then I suggest you hire a slave to do this for you.

I have tried starting a blog. But not sure how to . Can you provide some guidance? How did you get your ideas from?

Adam says:
Ok I know if you’ve never set up a blog before, it can be very intimidating. I got stuck for 3 days just figuring how to install wordpress but once you do it the first time, you’ll know how to do it the next. And that goes for every skill you learn in any area in life too.

ok ok.. I don’t want to start sounding like a success guru because I’m just as ‘good’ as you. It doesn’t take anything special to do this, so just go figure it out step-by-step and you’ll get there.

I won’t list down all the steps on how to install wordpress because there are tons of instructions out there, just google it.

And how do I get my ideas? From everywhere. Life is too full of colourful people and situations that there’s surely something stupid enough to blog about.

I have attended about two internet workshop so far. The most recent one was unstoppable traffic workshop by Ewen chia and Johan . They mentioned something about Singaporean Buffet symdrome. When singaporeans attend a seminar, they tend to grab everything they could without considering which method is suitable for them. Personally feel that applying the knowledge of what is been taught is important. I was once like one of them. When too many information is been given , it become information overloaded. I totally agreed with what you mentioned , the importance to remain focused and fine tuned the strategies that are not working
