Ok now it comes to my part.

I know this is very common but just let me share about my experience since this is my blog and you have no choice to read it if you’re reading it.

Sometimes when you want to promote an affiliate product, it may be a very good idea to offer free bonuses along with it. Especially during a hot product launch and everyone’s promoting it at the same time.

Why would people buy through your affiliate link? They could just buy it straight from the vendor or from another affiliate who’s got the nicer looking teeth, right?

So since people are so hard to please, we marketers have had to come up with even more shameless bribes to entice you to make the purchase via my affiliate link.

And what’s wrong with that? It’s more power to the consumer, they get even more value, the affiliate gets paid and the vendor gets paid. Everyone goes home happy.

And it works.

      Hi Adam,

      I was wondering how are your RSS Feed subscriptions. I recently added RSS Feeds by Feedburner, but I noticed that no one subscribed to my feeds. I was wondering if I am doing something wrong or it’s just not enough traffic. I have only about 500+ unique visitors per month at the moment. Anyway, if it’s fine with you, do let me know your RSS Feed response.

      Adam says:
      Well, it depends.

      Yes of course more traffic would mean a higher subscriptions, but also you’d have to think about whether your readers are the types that actually use RSS feeds. If a majority of your users don’t, then even if you had lotsa traffic, that may not translate to lots of subscriptions.

      I wouldn’t be too concerned about this. I just put them there so it’s easier for those who DO use feeds to just subscribe to mine.
