Well, it’s not really ‘new’ new.
I just added some really spiffy graphics to the salesletter and I just think it’s smashing!
The guy who did it (Sean from MiniSiteGraphics.com) is a wizard when it cames to salesletter graphics. And he’s lovely to work with too! Highly recommended!
Anyway, compare the old salesletter with the updated one. I think the difference’s quite obvious:

Look! It’s even got Adam Khoo’s red beemer inside. Cool eh?
Anyway, when you’re just starting out online, you may not want or need to invest your money in professional graphics like these at the beginning.
Just maybe invest in some basic graphics that you could probably create for free. (Just hunt for the right tools online…)
Besides graphics are not the main sales element of your salesletter, it only helps to enhance or support the copywriting you have (but bad graphics can actually hurt it).
If your copy’s bad, graphics or no graphics, it will still stink. So focus more on your words and your marketing message. There’re are salesletters out there with zero graphics that convert like crazy because they know exactly how to reach out to their target audience.
I think when you’re kinda sure your product and your salesletter’s profitable and making money, you may consider reinvesting so of your profits in getting professional graphics done, but that’s a personal choice. I wanted them so I got them made.

a little fanciful graphics is ok, but always rmb content is the key, too much graphics will overkill. felt that adam khoo’s face should be slightly more distinct than the BMW =) maybe you could have some video/audio testimonials
