Update: Milllionaire Stock Investors
Wow! The response has been pretty phenomenal so far. We’ve had over 500 people enter into the contest as I write this and I think that’s bloody fine.

The previous time we ran something similar was many months back when I just did a revamp of the SSMM salesletter and I invited the list to give their comments about what they thought. The prize back then was… naturally a copy of SSMM. For that contest we had over 15o oooppss.. 150 comments, if I remember correctly.
So this time around with 500, I think it’s doing pretty well. What’s more, we’re gonna leave the contest on till the product launches, so we should be expecting many more people to participate in the contest. Let’s see how many we’ll tally in the end.
It was actually Mr Khoo’s idea to run a contest in the first place. He called me up one day just to ask how much traffic his blog was getting and I told him so. And he was gob-smacked impressed. So he went all excited and he wanted to do a contest where people could take a shot guessing at his blog traffic and the winner who guessed right would win his new book.
Which is fine but I told that it’s a bit wierd having people typing numbers like 1077, 7252, 19370, etc to try win a prize. So I told him about the ask campaign thingy and we went ahead with that. So that’s where we are now. Anyway, if he didn’t bring it up, I wouldn’t have remembered about doing the ask campaign for his new book.
So there you are, just a bit of background about how ideas mill, spill and come about. No magic, just whatever hits the mind. (sunflowers!)
later…

Just noticed the cool little effect that you are using for your submit button. I like it so much that I implemented it on my blog as well.
