If you add up the total Payperiod figures on the top, it amounts to a smacking US$21,154.38. muahahhaha! I can now die contented.

I remember when I first started out in Internet marketing, my goal was just to make 500 bucks a month, so that my Mum wouldn’t have to pay me an allowance while I went to school (that’d be embarrassing).

And when the whole thing started to take off and I started making more than that, I was really ecstatic that this IM thingamajig actually works. Mind you, it wasn’t smooth sailing all the way, even now. I still have to ‘work’ to keep up the income and to ensure that the business grows.

There have been times when the income has dipped and question myself whether this whole thing’s gonna last me. But it’s also times like this when thing’s go waaaay up that shows me what is possible on the Internet.

It still amazes me that I managed to create over US$20K in just 2 1/2 weeks! That’s SGD$30,000! (depending on the rates). The promo I did sold 100 copies at $197 (= $19,700), it sold out in 2 1/2 weeks, add in other odds and ends, and I crossed the 20k mark. And it all started with an idea!

If I never had the idea to run this promo, this never would have happened. Now when I hear metaphysical gurus tell me that money REALLY is an idea (energy), I freaking believe them wholehearted. It literally is created in the mind.

Ha! Now I can just be a bum and feed myself for a year.

Oh yeah and a belated Happy New Year!

Wow!

This was the first time I ever sold such a high end product and it was the first time I received a $500 commission. Pretty much to say, I was excited.

Anyway, I was expecting a nice commission cheque or a PayPal transfer, but nooooo… they sent me plastic instead!

I actually received this Visa TravelMoney card months back, it’s loaded with US$500, but I haven’t done anything since with it. Maybe I should blow it on a pink iPod! (right…)

Or if you know of a way on how I can extract the money that’s sitting inside, please let me know, I’d rather have the cash sitting pretty in my bank account.

I woke up yesterday morning afternoon just like any other day. And usually the first thing I do when I slumber off my bed is I hop over to my laptop just to check my email.

I’m like having email addiction or something (nasty!) and so I hop on over, wake up my computer and go straight to my gmail and I got a very pleasant New Year surprise!

Take a look at this:

I thought I needed to rub my sleepy eyes because at first I thought I was seeing things. But noooo…… it was really all these sales sitting in my inbox gleefully greeting my waking eyeballs! Amazing! (some details omitted for privacy)

Now after my brain woke and was starting to function properly, I thought that it had to be someone with a pretty nice list endorsing SSMM to them. And yes it was!

What I didn’t expect was that it was one of the Internet marketing heavyweights doing it, namely: David Vallieres!

He’s like my Chinese New Year Santa Claus now! hahahha!

Anyway, I sent an email thanking him for this and to tell him we really, really appreciate his support and endorsement.

Now what’s really special about David is that this ISN’T his first time promoting SSMM! He did so the very first time I launched SSMM, which was way back in Aug 2006 and he played such a HUGE part in my initial online success.

I can honestly say that I may not be here doing what I’m doing if not for David Vallieres. I’m serious. I’m deeply indebted to his actions and truly appreciative of what he’s made possible for me. *sob*

Anyway… this is seriously an amazing way to kick off the New Year with David V handing out some really hefty ang pows! haha!

What’s this? Well, when you accumalate� $100 in your adsense a/c, Google will send you this pretty postcard. This is for them to verify that you are a real person indeed. Inside this card there’s a pin which you need to enter before they send you your very first Google cheque.

Obviously, if your adsense takes forever to hit $100, then you really are doing something wrong.

Anyway, do you want to know what a Google cheque looks like? tada!

Anyway, they send you this. And the cheque’s at the bottom.

So you tear the cheque off (it’s perforated) and you bank it. Great thing about Google is that they allow you to choose between getting paid in USD or your local currency, in this case SGD.

If it’s SGD, well the money gets banked really fast. But USD is a chore. I’d have to bank with a local bank which sends back the cheque to� the US for clearance and then after it’s cleared, it’s sent back here before the money is banked into your account.

In all the whole process takes about a month! Leh ceh….

Like Clickbank. Only has cheques in USD. mumble mumble…

But I won’t complain. I am getting paid after all… like this

OMIGOD! It’s a cheque from Clickbank for more than friggin’ US$5000! ahahhahaha!

Now now, before you go about thinking why in the world I’m showing this off, this post is not meant for me to brag about this precious piece of paper. I just want you to know what it looks and feels like to get PAID for your internet efforts. Especially if you’ve never had something like this before. Like me. This is my first ever cheque.

Well I had one from Google before but that one didn’t exactly set my pulse racing. So let me treat this Clickbank one as my true virgin cheque! haha!

I believe that when you get to know what it feels and looks like to have something and you constantly focus your thoughts and energies on it, it WILL manifest and become reality.

Adam Khoo used to check out and sit in BMWs in car showrooms way before he made his million and guess what? He now has his BMW. It manifested. It became reality.

He also used to dream about going back to his secondary school and giving a talk there to the students to share about his story and also to prove some of his teachers wrong and that he made it in life. And guess what? That also came true.
