Google Cheat Sheet!

I found this great resource from somewhere, somehow (I can’t remember how I got to the site…) and it’s very useful in my opinion.

It’s a google cheat sheet and it lists down practically everything you need to know about Google in 2 A4 size images. Very very useful, but my words won’t be descriptive enough to explain it so just download (it’s free) and check it out for yourself.

I got an image here to give you an idea but here’s the link to download the cheat sheets. There’re two of them.

=> Millionaire Stock Investors

Great!

Now, the focus of this blog post isn’t going to be about my promoting the contest or the new book. It’ll be about how we’re running the marketing of IT. If you go take a look at the site (link above), you notice one simple thing again – We’re collecting opt-ins.

If you take a look at all my sites, all of them have an opt-in box somewhere asking for your name and email address. Collecting leads is of utmost importance to your online business. Your mailing list is your biggest asset and the majority of your efforts online should be about building that list, building that list, building that list.

Ok, now back to the site. As you can see, we’re asking for the name, email address and we’ve added something extra. An extra field where you can ask a question. Why do we do this?

I’d Better Blog About Something…

As a owner of a blog, it is my responsibilty to always have something to blab about, so that readers will just keep on coming to lap up the whole thing. People just love reading about stuff and the more you blog, the more traffic you’re gonna get.

If you don’t think you’re going to enjoy blogging consistently for the next 5 years of your life, them probably blogging’s not for you. Or go hire a writer to do if for you. Quietly…

Since I have no one particular thing to blog about today, I’m just gonna type down whatever nonsense that hits my mind (Cow!) and maybe that will make it a very entertaining read for you (french fries!).

Ok maybe some updates first:

Result!

OK, here’s the “final” result of how well our recent email promos for Success WIth NLP did:

Success With NLP

$1003.56 in 5 days. Decent but way below my expectations. I was aiming for the $3k mark, so it’s a disappointment for me in my opinion. Anyway, if you’re reading this (of course you are…), I’m just showing you all of this just so you have a behind the scenes look at what we do ummm.. behind the scenes.

24 Hours Later…

OK it’s about 24 hours since I sent a mailing out to my lists about Success With NLP, so let’s take a look at the results so far:

Success With NLP

$558.63 in 24 hours.

Which isn’t really what I expected. I was aiming much higher than that. As you can see, the earlier figure ($600.71) was for a mailing sent out to a previous list and that had a lot less people on it. And that’s why I was gunning for a much higher figure this time around.

Ok.., the gurus are probably laughing at me right now. $500 in a day? I do that in 30 secs! ahahahhaha! Anyway, I’m still gonna continue my promo, so let’s see what happens the next few days.

Behind The Scenes…

As a valued reader of this blog, you know i’d be sharing with you behind the scenes stuff that you’d normally wouldn’t read about. It’s so common to see or experience things from the consumer’s point of view and right now is your chance to watch from the other side of the table…

As I type this, it’s Monday morning in Singapore (I can’t believe I’m actually awake at this time!) and pretty soon I’m going to be sending a mailing to my lists. Around 2-3pm local time. After lunch, when most people are loafing around anyway… (for my SG subscribers anyway, my US ones should be asleep).

75% Commissions And Why You Should Give Them

If you’re selling digital products, you’d know the most basic level of commissions you should give is 50%. People expect that as a minimum nowadays and yes, we do see most ebooks, software, etc giving out commissions at that level. (If you’re offering a measly 8% comm, wake up! Coz you’re not Amazon haha..)

So when I first started out selling Secrets Of Self-Made Millionaires, I too gave out 50% commissions. The thing was I wasn’t happy giving out the commissions! (ok note: wasn’t)

When I received an email in my inbow telling me of a new sale, I would jump up and then I’d go – ‘Oh shit, that may have been an affiliate sale.’

haha! Can you believe that?
