Eight Facts About Me

I’ve been tagged by Julianto and I thought I should have some fun with this.

Here are some rules of this meme:
1. Each blogger must post these rules first.
2. Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write in their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

To All Those Who Have Touched My Life In The Last 4 Days

Ok I’m being mushy, but I mean it.

I really really had a wonderful time working, playing and building friendships with a great many special people over the weekend. And it’s also because of these great people that I decided to return to blogging after over a month of not writing a single post and just being a lazy… thing.

I was coaching over the weekend at Adam Khoo’s Wealth Academy program and it was simply a blast! I haven’t coached in over 4 years and I just re-discovered the fun that I’ve been missing out for a pretty long time.

Personally, I took a bit of time to gel and interact with my coaching team (I’m shy… seriously), but after a while, I just had to start blabbering to my teammates and that really started the ball rolling.

The biggest lesson I learned was that I just had to approach people and TALK. And people will open up, respond and that would be the beginning of a new friendship. I’ve been so comfortable the last many months behind a screen that I never really stretched myself to go out there and build new relationships.

To all my fellow coaches – thank you for being there. Because if anyone of you were not around, things could never be as much fun as they were over the last 4 days. I really mean that and I’m really glad to have met all of you great people.

I look forward to seeing you again and besides… I just got arrowed to be the program director of the next Wealth Academy (and I happily accept!), so till then!

The Best Autoresponder Out There

Ok, Steve has this question:

Hi Adam, recently i restarted a web site that i created a few years back and wanted to inform my list of about 1000 emails. However, alot of emails got bounched back and i contacted my hosting and my hosting told me that they only allow us to send 200 emails per hour to prevent spamming. I did not have this problem the last time.
I contacted other hosting providers and they all have the same limits.
How do you overcome this problem since you have such a big list?
Thank you.

Thomas

Ooops! I’m sorry! I mean Thomas…

Anyway, to answer your question – OMIGOD! Don’t think about using a typical webhost for building your list and to deliver emails. It’s suicide. Webhosting companies are good at one thing – web hosting, NOT for delivering email and storing your leads.

If you’re really serious about having a proper system to store your leads and to email them on time, all the time, get a professional autoresponder. A really good autoresponder will help you to store your leads, import, export, ensure that your emails get delivered on time (because they also work with major ISPs out there), queue up your follow-up emails, yadda yadda yadda, etc.

In short, it will automate your operations, help you make more money, buy that Ferrari for you, make you fall in love with them, and it only costs less than $15 a month. What a deal!

I recommend either using Aweber (my first choice) or GetResponse for your autoresponder needs. Forget the rest!

Web Editors, Hosting, And Internet Marketing Courses…

Ok… hi Ivan,

here’s your question:

Hi Adam,

May I know which web editor do you use to create your website and how much
does it cost?
How about your webhosting company? How much do you pay every month?
Could you recommend a good book to start Internet marketing business?

Thanks a zillion!

Regards,
Ivan Goretha

Nice last name….

Anyway, to anser your questions:

I use Microsoft Frontpage, I can’t remember exactly how much it costs (around $300+ I think…) but you could consider using it. If you’re familiar with MS Word, Frontpage won’t be too difficult a step up.

If you’re on a budget, visit Nvu and download their free web editor. I haven’t use it myself before, but I’ve always had people mention this as an alternative.

I recommend using Bluehost for webhosting, they’re the guys I use and they’re reasonable too – $6.95/month.

And the last question, I would undoubtedly recommend Derek Gehl’s Insider Secrets course. It is the by far the most COMPLETE guide out there that teaches you how to start an internet business. PERIOD.

And it’s cheap too ($197), considering the amount of valuable information and education you’ll be getting. And also because of there’re really lousy products selling for $97 out there. So you get the picture; Insider Secrets is a steal.

Hope I’ve helped you out here!

I’m Flattered…

Ok first off, I know it’s been really loooong since I posted something, so let me me apologise if you’ve been eagerly checking my blog every 37 minutes over the last week to see if I wrote something new.

I just didn’t have the “feeling” to want to write, and if I don’t feel in the mood or I don’t something interesting to share, I’d rather not write. Personal choice, that’s all…

Anyway, I do some times login to my wordpress to check for comments, and this time I noticed new people linking to me, one of which is Julianto.

Why do I mention him?

How To Open A Clickbank Account When Your Country Isn’t Listed

I get this question A LOT. Especially from people who want to start affiliate marketing, but find out that Clickbank doesn’t have their country listed.

And so… yes, someone did ask me again.

Hi Adam:

I would not want to let go this opportunity to ask a long kept question.
I can’t create a clickbank account with Malaysian address, Malaysia is not listed in the clickbank country list.

I was thinking to register using Singapore address, and deposit my clickbank cheque in Malaysia, is it allowed to do that ?

Thanks for your advice.

Regards:
Steve

Hiya Steve,

It is unfortunate that Clickbank doesn’t accept Malaysian accounts, so that makes things a tad inconvenient for aspiring internet marketers. But obviously, there are many Malaysians out there who are doing really well online and I’m sure they’ve found a way to sidestep this issue.
