Using Tags To Increase Traffic

Yes! Another question! I’m your Uncle Agony! And I luv it!

Anyway, here it is:

Name: Andrew Choong

Hi Adam, not sure if this is a dumb question but why do bloggers always have tags at the end of each post? Is it for search engine to find easily or just some keywords? I just converted my website into a blog and seems like I can never finish learning. Somehow, if possible, can you advise me on how I can improve my blog?

Ok Hi Andrew,

The reason is this…

How To Create A Rebrandable PDF File

Yay! (jumping up and down in girlish delight) I got a question!

ahem… anyway, here’s it:

Hi Adam,

I’m responding to your call for questions on your blog!

I would like to find out what software do you use to create rebrandable pdf files.

Thanks alot!

Regards,
Calvin

Great question! Because rebrandable pdfs are a great way to drive traffic to your site and boost sales. Plus you offer a really great tool for your affiliates to help market and promote your product.

OK, let’s begin. I use Viral PDF to create my rebrandable pdfs. You can go to viralpdf.com to purchase their software. You need this to create a rebrandable pdf. In fact, when you buy their product, it comes with all the instructions you need on how you can go about creating a rebrandable pdf. But i’ll cover it here also, so you can discover how it’s done.

Questions?

Just wanted to drop a note letting you know that I’m open to any questions you may have (ummm… almost any question – don’t ask me about my future mother-in-law, color of my underwear, stuff like that.)

If you have any question about Internet marketing, I’d be happy to help answer it and help you out.

Why am I doing this?

Do You Know Your Own Visitor Value?

We all know two things make your success on the Internet. Traffic x Conversions = $$$

It really IS as simple as that. If you can do that consistently, you’re making money. Focusing about your PageRank, no. of links you have, or even your Alexa rank, blah blah blah, etc is not going to make you money!

Sure having high PR, great many links, etc is always good to have rather than not. But if you’re not converting your traffic into paying customers, then well… that sucks.

I mentioned before that if I were to choose between higher traffic or higher conversions, I’d always go for the killer conversion rate.

Why?

Eh… I’m Back

Hiya!

I’m back. Like the title says.

I actually arrived back in SG from Oz Wednesday night, saw Man Utd lose to Milan, had some REAL food in awhile, and I still have jet lag. For god’s sake, I’m now waking up at 8am! Can you imagine!? That’s a bloody miracle!

Anyway, the Gold Coast was a really great trip for me. If you don’t already know, i went there for a Tony Robbins seminar – Date With Destiny. Awesome event! Really, really good and I had loads of fun attending it. I went go on to describe the whole thing full bore here, but if you want to have an idea of what we did in those 6 days (!), you can view a video here:

Date With Destiny 2007 Gold Coast

OK! I know it’s been more than 2 full weeks since I blogged about anything, so hope you haven’t abandoned me. But you know what? I learned something while I was on holiday. I had to learn to let go of things while I was there.

You see, I didn’t have an internet connection over there and the only way I could get online was to find an internet cafe or station somewhere (and pay high prices for it.) Because of that, I couldn’t plug myself into the net 24/7, like I normally do when I’m back home.

At first, the thought of not being able to hook up whenever I wanted was a little itchy (I’m addicted to email…) but as I just enjoyed my holiday and the new sights and sounds, i learnt to let go of stuff.

I didn’t NEED to be at the computer all day, I didn’t NEED to attend to all the work I had to do, I didn’t NEED to let my work own me or my time. And the best part was, I was still making money online while I was having my holiday.

So I realised that even as much I enjoy my internet work tremendously, I had to allow myself to just let go once in awhile and also focus on other important things in life, like (girlfriends) and to just ‘enjoy the moment.’

Anyway, I’ll be back to blogging again, just to let off my thoughts and some steam (it’s sooooo therapeutic), but not everyday. I found myself not enjoying myself when I had to churn a blog post every single day. And so I’m not going to. I prefer my work when it’s enjoyable and fun.

talk soon

Sorry!

Ha! I’m really sorry I haven’t been blogging much the past many days. I’ve been a bit busy over the period and I wasn’t really in the mood to blog. And my belief is that if I’m not in the mood, I shouldn’t really have to force myself to do things.

But I balance that, of course, with some common sense. Or else I’ll just end up bumming my whole life. If there’re things I need to get done, I get them done. And somehow I make myself get ‘in the mood’ to get things done.

Hope it makes sense anyway….

Ok, just some updates for you:

Adam Khoo is launching his new book ‘Secrets Of Millionaire Investors’ 15 May instead of late April as originally planned. It will be launched in bookstores in Singapore. For the rest of the world, I guess you’d have to wait for the digital version.

Adam also has a pre-launch thingy happening right now where you can pre-order an autographed copy of the book at a discounted price. So if you’re interested and you don’t know about it yet, visit his blog.

Only 188 copies available for that, so hurry if you must.

Next! I’m playing around with Google Analytics at the moment and I must say it’s a super super piece of software. It practically tracks every damn thing that needs to be tracked on your website (visits, pageviews, conversions, geo targeting, PPC ROI, etc, etc, etc. LOTS of stuff).

At the moment, I’m familiarising myself with the data and what it means. Really powerful stuff and all you need to do is to stick a piece of code onto your webpage. And you know what the best part is? It’s FREE!

Well technically free. You need an Adwords account first and that costs $10. So anyway, I highly recommend it.

And lastly, I’ll be off to the Gold Coast Australia for the next 2 weeks for a seminar and a short holiday, so ummmm… well… just letting you know. That’s all.

Ok that’s it for tonight. I’ll in touch even when I’m in Oz. So maybe I’ll blog a bit when I’m there.

tata…
